This guide walks you through setting up your Azure environment so ZoneReporting can securely transfer data from NetSuite to your managed data warehouse.

Create an enterprise application that allows secure data transfer between NetSuite and your managed data warehouse.

- Ensure that the user completing the setup is using an account that has Office 365 or Azure tenant administrator privileges.
1. Create Client Application
-
- Navigate to https://portal.azure.com

- Click on + New Registration
- On the Register an Application screen, complete the following three steps:
- In the Name field, enter a name for the app — we recommend something like ZoneReporting.
- In the Redirect URI section, select 'Web' from the dropdown menu, then enter http://localhost in the provided field.
- Click Register
- Copy and paste the Application (client) ID and the Directory (tenant) ID values into your Azure setup checklist.
- In the left-hand menu, click Certificates & Secrets, then select + New client secret. Name it appropriately and set the expiration — we recommend 24 months, or follow your organization's policy.
- Click Add
- Copy and paste the secret Value into your Azure setup checklist.
- IMPORTANT: Copy the secret Value, not the Secret ID.
- IMPORTANT: Copy the secret Value, not the Secret ID.
- Once you navigate away from this screen, the secret value cannot be retrieved. If you lose it, you’ll need to generate a new secret.
- Navigate to https://portal.azure.com
Note: If you lose the secret value, you can create a new one by repeating the steps above.
