New Features & Improvements
#1 New Role: ZoneExtract Admin (ZR-1635)
We’ve added a new custom NetSuite role, ZoneExtract Admin, to allow customers to grant ZoneExtract access without requiring full NetSuite Administrator privileges.
Customer Benefits:
-
Flexible User Access: You can now give more employees access to ZoneExtract, without granting them full NetSuite administrator privileges.
- This was a customer-requested feature: we heard your request, and granted it!
-
Maintains Security: We developed this role using least-privilege permissions, which limits visibility and access to only ZoneExtract-specific assets.
- This means users with the “ZoneExtract Admin role” won’t be able to view anything outside ZoneExtract (unless they were also granted additional permissions to view other NetSuite content.)
- Smoother Operations: Not only does this improve your organizational flexibility, but the bug fix broadens support for how you configure your data, giving you a smoother workflow.
The table below documents the detailed permissions and access for the new ZoneExtract Admin role.
