Summary
Our February 3rd update to 3.1.0 included a rebrand from Tactical Connect to ZoneExtract. For customers that hadn’t pushed to the 3.0.0 code yet, this update caused some errors with saved searches. To address this, we modified our code in the newest release bundle, adding support for these customers and eliminating this issue.
If you haven't received an error message with your saved searches, you can wait until the next release to push an update.
New Features & Customer Impacts
Saved Searches can now be configured using the NetSuite record type “Quota” with the 3.1.1 code update.
While this will not impact most customers, it will prevent the following error message received by some customers after our latest release.
New Code Prevents This Error Message:
“This search requires ‘Saved Search Standalone Type’ field to be correctly defined.”
What Drove The Change?
Customers using an older version of our code were able to configure saved searches using “Quota” as the record type which was not initially supported with the early February code release (3.1.0). Our 3.1.1 code is updated to ensure all customers are able to execute their saved searches.
How to Access
Customers seeing the above error message can upgrade to the latest code bundle, 3.1.1. Using the new code bundle, “Quota” is available as a dropdown in the Record Type field.
FAQ
What does the error message mean?
“This search requires "Saved Search Standalone Type" field to be correctly defined’ error message indicates that the record type has not been configured correctly. With code updates after 3.0.0, the Record Type field needs to be explicitly defined and the value “Quota” was not an accepted value. With the 3.1.1 update, the value “Quote” can now be successfully used for the Record Type to execute saved searches.
If I don’t see the error, do I still need to update my code?
No, you can wait until the next recommended release.
What should I do if I’ve updated the code but still receive the error message?
